IS THERE A DRESS CODE? WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
As the wedding will be celebrated in Roatan, we recommend fresh, linen or cotton made
clothes.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
January, the average is about a high of 82 to a low of 74. The humidity year round is about 77%.
WHAT ARE COVID-19 GUIDELINES?
As of March 22, 2023, travelers are no longer required to show proof of vaccinations/COVID-19 test to enter the country.
CAN I BRING A DATE?
If it was said on your invitation, both of you are welcome!
Please inform us if your original plans change and end up adding to your invitation. We have to be mindful of capacity.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?
Everyone should RSVP by Oct 31. If you fail to RSVP by the date.. this will mean you will not have a place to sit for the wedding.
If its past the 31st, please reach out to us anyway and we will see if we can adjust with the planner.
WHAT SHOULD I DO FIRST BEFORE I RSVP?
Please make sure your passport is up to date! Or get a passport! Once you have your passport, we recommend that you book your hotel first! Especially if you want to be near the wedding venue.
WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS? OR OUTDOORS?
The wedding will be outdoors on the beach, and the reception will be on a covered patio near the beach. We would recommend comfortable shoes for the sand and dancing!
TRANSPORTATION?
If you’re staying in west bay or west end , taxi or shuttle bus would be the way to go. If you’re staying at a hotel, check to see if they have a shuttle bus that would be picking you up at the airport and that would be taking you! If you’re staying on west end, you will see water taxis that can transport you to west bay, where the wedding will be 5$ each way per person.
CAN WE BRING OUR KIDS?
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate children in the wedding party at our reception unless already communicated previously.
WHERE WOULD BE MOST CONVENIENT TO STAY?
The most convenient location would be in the West Bay. There are tons of hotels and it’s easy to get to our wedding venue at the Mayan Princess. If you’re looking for more of a local experience, we recommend staying in the West End which is about 10-15 min drive to West Bay or 10 min water taxi ride.

VISA REQUIREMENTS:
All visitors to Bay Islands must present a passport valid for at least six months from the date of travel. Visa requirements for entering Bay Islands vary significantly from country to country.
LANGUAGE:
The official language of Roatan is Spanish. Although a lot of English is spoken with occasional French/Creole.
CURRENCY:
The local currency is Lempira but U.S Dollar/debit and credit cards are accepted. Conversion is roughly L.24.5 equals $1. Many places accept U.S Dollars. *Please notify your phone carrier, and bank that you will be traveling internationally in order to avoid foreign fees.

If you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa, you no longer need any documentation related to Covid to return to the U.S. If you are outside of those categories, you need proof of vaccination. As a tourist, you are allowed to drive with a U.S. driver's license in Honduras.
